By partnering directly with local schools, Project Next brings career-readiness programs, mentorship, and Future Centres to campuses — equipping students with the clarity, confidence, and connections they need to thrive after graduation.

Meet the Changemaker Behind the Mission
At the heart of Project Next is Lisa Stout, Founder and Executive Director — a relentless champion for students and equity in education. A former high school counsellor of nearly 20 years, Lisa has dedicated her career to breaking barriers and building bridges between education, community, and opportunity. As a first-generation college graduate herself, Lisa knows firsthand the power of mentorship and access. Her personal journey — from uncertainty to empowerment — fuels her passion to ensure every student, regardless of background, has a future they’re excited about.

Under Lisa’s leadership, Project Next has built an ecosystem where educators, employers, and community partners unite to prepare the next generation for success. Through job shadowing, financial aid support, professional skill-building, and personalised coaching, Project Next helps students not only dream big — but take the next step with confidence.
