Dr. Julie Hayden is a community leader, educator and homelessness-solutions advocate committed to helping individuals and families move from crisis toward stability and self-sufficiency.

As CEO of East County Transitional Living Center, she leads programs that support people experiencing homelessness through transitional housing, recovery services, education, employment readiness and community-based assistance. The organization’s mission is to restore lives by addressing the interconnected challenges that often contribute to homelessness.

Dr. Hayden’s work emphasizes that lasting transformation requires more than a single service or short-term intervention. Through an integrated systems approach, East County Transitional Living Center helps individuals and families rebuild structure, confidence, practical skills and hope.

She has also helped strengthen partnerships with service providers, community organizations, public agencies and civic leaders to expand support for people experiencing homelessness.
