Healing Little Hearts: The Saloni Heart Foundation Story

Every year, thousands of Indian children are born with congenital heart disease.
For families without access to advanced care, that diagnosis can be devastating — and often, fatal.
The Saloni Heart Foundation (SHF) was created to change that. Guided by the vision that every child with a complex heart condition deserves access to world-class cardiac care, SHF connects families to life-saving treatment, partners with leading hospitals, and supports cutting-edge pediatric cardiac research and education.

Last Year’s Impact

  • 5,000+ second opinions provided to families across India
  • 70+ surgeries fully funded for children in need
  • 300+ pediatric operations completed through SHF partnerships
  • Launch of the Saloni Heart Centre at SGPGIMS Lucknow in collaboration with UCSF — beginning with 30 specialized beds, expanding toward a 200-bed facility

A Vision of Compassion and Collaboration

SHF works across three core pillars:

  • Patient Consultation — offering free, unbiased access to the world’s top pediatric cardiac experts.
  • Advancing Medical Expertise — fostering global collaboration among hospitals, governments, and research institutions.
  • Medical Education — funding scholarships for students from economically weaker sections to pursue medicine and science.
  • Meet the Next-Gen Voice of Hope

At TALTalks 2025, we’ll hear from Muskan Seth, Youth Chair of Saloni Heart Foundation — a passionate advocate blending analytical insight with empathy to drive impact. With experience in data analytics, public law, and social innovation, Muskan represents a new generation of changemakers ensuring that compassion meets precision in every initiative.

She will share how SHF is proving that when expertise, empathy, and action come together, miracles happen — one heartbeat at a time.

Because saving a life is not just medical work — it’s human work.
